he three members of Foiled Again met in 1999 when they were all part of an a capella singing ensemble at Chicago's Navy Pier. After singing together there for years and becoming close friends, they put together a holiday show as a side project. Hoping this side project would grow into something more, they gave themselves a name. It just so happened that they all have gotten their hair highlighted at the same salon, a process Rob had always called getting "foiled again" -- seriously, we can't make this stuff up -- and that's how Foiled Again was born.
Five years of holiday shows, tribute shows, special appearances, and an After Dark Award for Outstanding Cabaret Performance later, Foiled Again is still wowing audiences. In 2005, Foiled Again hit the studio for the first time, singing background vocals for Colleen McHugh on her debut CD, Songs of Self-Delusion, and in 2006, Foiled Again appeared in a reading of a full-length musical revue based on their successful cabaret show Hit Factory: Songs of the Brill Building. Stay tuned for more details!
