ROB LINDLEY
n Iowa native, Rob Lindley came to Chicago to study
improv at Chicago's Second City Conservatory and went on to become a
member of BABY WANTS CANDY at i.O., where he also studied. In the fall of
2005, he traveled with BABY to the New York Musical Theatre Festival, performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
After
doing two solo cabaret shows at Davenport's, Rob asked two of his
favorite singers to join him for a holiday show in 2001... and Foiled Again
was born. Besides working with Foiled Again, Rob continues to
perform solo cabaret shows, most recently A Boy's Gotta Have
Standards. Rob also directs other cabaret acts, like Colleen McHugh & Miriam
Plotkin, Beckie Menzie & Tom Michael, and benefit concerts such as
aFINNity: Chicago Sings William Finn and After
Sondheim.
Rob is an Artistic Associate with Porchlight Music
Theatre, where he has performed in many productions, including the
Jeff-Nominated Sweeney Todd and Closer Than Ever. Rob also
has appeared in productions at Writer's Theatre, Theatre at the Center, Bailiwick Repertory,
Light Opera Works, Wayside Theatre, and Missoula Children's Theatre. Most recently, Rob appeared in the Chicago premiere of Urinetown.
