Rob LindleyROB LINDLEY

An Iowa native, Rob Lindley came to Chicago to study improv at Chicago's Second City Conservatory and went on to become a member of BABY WANTS CANDY at i.O., where he also studied. In the fall of 2005, he traveled with BABY to the New York Musical Theatre Festival, performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

After doing two solo cabaret shows at Davenport's, Rob asked two of his favorite singers to join him for a holiday show in 2001... and Foiled Again was born. Besides working with Foiled Again, Rob continues to perform solo cabaret shows, most recently A Boy's Gotta Have Standards. Rob also directs other cabaret acts, like Colleen McHugh & Miriam Plotkin, Beckie Menzie & Tom Michael, and benefit concerts such as aFINNity: Chicago Sings William Finn and After Sondheim.

Rob is an Artistic Associate with Porchlight Music Theatre, where he has performed in many productions, including the Jeff-Nominated Sweeney Todd and Closer Than Ever. Rob also has appeared in productions at Writer's Theatre, Theatre at the Center, Bailiwick Repertory, Light Opera Works, Wayside Theatre, and Missoula Children's Theatre. Most recently, Rob appeared in the Chicago premiere of Urinetown.
